Unlike some of the other readers it took me all week to read. I usually read during my lunch hour and a bit before at bed before my eyes give out...finished it at lunch today and was so sad because it had to end...have loved time travel romances for what seems like ages so when I found your 2nd book had to go out and search for the first and have been reading them ever since..have them all now except To Kiss in the Shadows which I will be looking for this weekend. I do love the way you bring the characters from older books in to your stories..makes me want to go dig them up so I can read them again. I've never been to England or Scotland but in reading your books and the way you describe the areas, lets me take my own special trip...and i don't even have to fly...Keep up the good work...can't wait to read your next one. Jan Williamsburg, va USA Tuesday, January 17, 2006 at 17:03:41 (EST) Sun Jan 15 17:28:44 EST 2006 Dear Lynn, Thank you for a wonderfully enchanting, page-turning-read through time. I have just finished reading DREAMS OF STARDUST. I found the story line devinely captivating. I had a hard time putting the book down to eat, sleep or talk to my husband. Having lived in England, I felt right at home in the modern day castles and motoring down the A-1. I too, wish I could 'time travel' back to the merry ole days of Britain. But on the other hand, I'd have to have an unusually strong reason to stay in the past or present, whichever the case may be. Love can be that 'pull' and usually wins out every time as in Jake and Amanda's situation. I loved the fact that Kendrick sent back a box of chocolates for Amanda, what a 'love!. All the characters had such a wonderful likeability about them, that one couldn't helped to be 'drawn' into this book. Looking forward to reading more about this family and their traveling escapes. :-) Wishing On A Traveler In Time, Mary Lynne J. ~ Dunmor, KY, U.S.A ~ 1/15/06 Mary Lynne Dunmor, KY USA Sunday, January 15, 2006 at 17:28:44 (EST) Fri Jan 13 14:43:55 EST 2006 my favoriet book of all time is "The more i see you" and its unbelieveble there aren't any words good enough to discribe your books.I really idmire your talent. My Englisch isn't that amzing cause i Live in Belgium and speak Dutch but i'm goiing to try read them in English just to make sure that I'll read ALL your books. So i just hope i'll understand it. Mostly I want to read A Dance Through Time, Another Chance to Dream, and Stardust of Yesterday... unfortunately, none were in stock at my book store so I'll have to order them. I can't wait! Also, I am now obsessed with Scotland (though I've always been obsessed with the Middle Ages). Well, farewell for now. Your historicals are wonderful as you weave humor and heroic female characters into situations where their individual quality complement the success of their male counterparts. Your stories evoke a passion of history and passionate love that transcends time. I am a devoted follower of you historicals and will continue to pick up and tear through your novels the moment they're published. I especially enjoyed the de Piaget and MacLeod books. Each book inspires a greater thirst to learn more about the family members involved in the previous books. I live in a suburb of New Orleans and evacuated during the storm. I took "Tapestry" and "Form this Moment On" with me thinking we would spend a long weekend in Houston. Our "vacation" was much longer than that. Your books were a much needed source of emotional rest during that time of stress. In fact, we were allowed to return home for a day to check on our homes and the first things I threw in the car were your remaining books that I had not read at the time. We're home, now and my daughter has borrowed several of them. I can't wait for her to finish each book so that we can discuss them! Like the heroes and heroines in the books New Orleanians are receiving their share of scars but families and communities have grown closer and stronger. We will create a better more loving community in the coming years. I am currently reading Dreams of Stardust and already loving it. I started with The More I See You a couple of years ago and since then I have read every one I can find. I still have two yet to find. I love the time travel themes.I also like that you keep to the romance side instead of filling page after page of sex. I can't wait for the next book! Thanks for many, many hours of reading enjoyment. Barb Barbara Paintsville, Ky USA Thursday, July 28, 2005 at 22:05:54 (EDT) Mon Jul 25 14:51:13 EDT 2005 I've just finished the last of your books that I've been able to get my hands on locally--from the special display box of your books at our local department store. In addition to being very affordable, your stories have made the women of the middle ages so real. In addition to being an avid reader, I have gotten very caught up in the genealogy of our family--many of them from the British Isles. For some reason, your stories have given me the ability to think of my family members with an additional depth. Your characters are so believable whether from this time period or from earlier times. It gives me great satisfaction to have the women grasp life and for the men to show empathy and compassion. Thank you so much--and keep the books coming. I hunger for more. One of the big things that keep you a favorite is that you can write a book without having to use the fillers that make so many other romances unapropriate for my daughter and nieces to read. You deserve an award not only for being able to write stories to be read again and again but stories that you can read all the pages and not have to flip through twenty percent of the book. After a non-stop marathon from 5:00PM to 2:00AM of tears and laughter, I breathed a sigh of regret that it was finished. Then I scrambled to find Miles in Gift of Christmas Past; Alex in The Very Thought of You; Gideon in Three Wise Ghosts; Kendrick in Stardust of Yesterday and finally Richard in The More I See You. Refreshing my memory of the other characters only brought me more enjoyment. Thank you, thank you for your great creative quill. So was Thomas McKinnon giving his sister, Victoria, the use of his castle so she could meet Connor MacDougal a hint to another possible romance or just a fun add in? I'm hoping it was a serious hint to a new romance because I think those two would be a huge kick to write/read about. :) sweethomemt USA Sunday, April 03, 2005 at 21:54:31 (EDT) Sun Apr 3 21:42:17 EDT 2005 Just finished reading "Dreams of Stardust." Bravo! Excellent book! It inspired me to reread "My Heart Stood Still". I just love it when the story revolves around several of my favorite couples. Lynn, keep up the great work! Can't wait to see who you decide to match up next. I put the other book down because I simply couldn't wait to catch up on some of my favorite characters and meet Jake and Amanda. I loved this book. It saddens me to think I'll have to wait another year for the next one. I'll probably go back and read all the others over again. JoJo Lennon Tyler, TX USA Wednesday, March 02, 2005 at 15:08:49 (EST) Tue Mar 1 03:02:14 EST 2005 I am very picky about the authors I read. I had actually read all of the books that my favorite authors had written, so I had a dilema. I was in the bookstore for hours trying to decide which author I would pick. I found you. I picked up your book and you introduced me to Robin and Anne a beautiful story and I finished reading it before the night was over. I actually had to go back and get another book. I have read and re-read all of your books and will continue to read anything you write as long as you write. Kudos to you for your wonderful gift of story telling, and just to let you know you are on my list of favorite authors now and its a very short list. :) Thank you for letting me escape from the stress of real life into a wonderful fantasy full of adventure. I truly appreciate you. We started comparing books we had read, and she said that she just finished reading a book that she was sure I would enjoy. However, she couldn't remember the title (or your name, sorry) but she did remember the book cover. She had the bookstore people join in. She was even willing to mail me her copy, as she was so sure I would love this book. We finally found the book. It was "Stardust of Yesterday". Once I started reading it, I was HOOKED! Looking for more of your books, the next one I found was "A Dance through Time". I fell in love with Jamie (I pictured him looking like Adrian Paul of the Highlander TV Series). And I was so happy to read the short story about Ian in "The Groom wore Tulle". After looking over your bookshelf, I realized that I have read every book you have written, even the short stories. THANK YOU for sharing these wonderful stories and characters, allowing me to escape to another time and place, for just a little while. Looking forward to reading Amanda Artane's story. Keep them coming. Maureen Maureen (Moe) Philadelphia, PA USA Friday, February 25, 2005 at 16:50:00 (EST) Mon Feb 21 10:14:54 EST 2005 Lynn, I love your books! As soon as I finish one, I have to rush out and buy another... I even start re-reading them to hold me over until I can get a new book. I get totally lost in your books and find myself traveling along with your characters. I don't want your stories to end (and actually get depressed when I know I am near the end of the story)!!! Please keep them coming! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for countless hours of pure enjoyment.
