Kindle Edition of One Enchanted Evening

I’ve had some questions about availability of the Kindle edition of OEE. I did a little digging and got the scoop.

Apparently Amazon and my publisher are in negotiations about a few things regarding the Kindle, but I understand things will be resolved soon. If you Kindlers want to send me privately an email where you can be reached, I’d be happy to drop you a line when that particular edition becomes available.

Thanks so much, Lynn! :) I really appreciate that you actually looked into this with your publisher. I will send you an email right now.

I plan on buying a paperback copy of OEE too once i get back to N.America for my collection but until then I’m dying to read Montgomery’s story. :)

Thank you for being such a great author that I wait every year with baited breath for your new releases!

I tried to send you an email on your Contact Lynn link but it didn’t seem to like me. Part of the global conspiracy to keep me away from OEE i think. LOL I think you should be able to see my email address when you receive this journal message though. *crosses fingers*

I can’t wait to read this and appreciate your willingness to keep ebook readers like myself in the loop. :)

    Thank you!

    Typ0,

We’re still working the kinks out of the system (esp.email). I hope all will be up and running by the end of this coming week.

If you want to try again in a week, go ahead. If not, you could subscribe to the RSS feed on the forum. I promise I’ll post something the very nanosecond I hear the negotiations have been resolved the Kindle edition is good go!

I am looking at getting an e reader for traveling and as I love your books I was hoping to find more of them on ebooks. I am hoping that not only the newer books will be available but the earlier titles as wellthough it is great to know that Montgomery’s book, that I loved BTW,will be on Kindle soon! I tried to email asking about it but like TypO your contact like didn’t like me, any ideas on where to find those great titles and which reader will support them? Thanks for all your many hours of enjoyable get away time in the wonderful world you have created!

Barnes and Noble reader supports the new book and they already have it in an ebook format for anyone that wants it in an e-reader format.

I’ll second what Tina said–I ended up getting OEE as an ebook on release day by downloading it via the B&N ereader to my iphone. First I checked kindle for iphone which was a no go, but B&N came through.

This was after I ran out to both local stores of Borders & B&N who, to my continued disbelief, did not have OEE in stock. I politely voiced my displeasure, & turned around and waltzed right back out. Of both stores. So much for trying to support the locals–hmmph!

    Thank goodness for the ebooks!

I drove to 4 book stores with no luck on the day OEE came out (B&N, Borders, Hastings and a local book store)with no luck but found it at the local Paul’s grocery store. I have thanked them for actually carrying the good books on the day they come out since none of the local major stores seem to get things on time. I bought a Nook just so I could get the books when they are released instead of wating a few days after release date so now I am prepared!

Yes! Please let me know when the Kindle version will be coming out! I check the Amazon site each day hoping it will be available. Thanks!

For those of you whose stores didn’t have it on release day…next time, call the store about a week before and have them order it for you. I did that with my Barnes and Noble, and they had it in two days later for me. :-)
