"From This Moment On Chapter 1-10"

I really enjoy the "witchly" bantering between Magda, Nemain, and Beregaria that introduces some of the stories. And wasnt iot sweet to read about little Robin, Pwease, tell me you thought he was adorable! The only part abut this bbok I find somewhat difficult to beleive is how Alienore could pull it off for so ling being as lovely as she must have been- I mean I can beleive Colin could muss it, but how she convinced her mcharge and the folks in the beginning seems a bit much to beleive to me, but it makes for fine story fodder!

I loved seeing Robin as a little boy. He is one of my favorite DePiaget men. I love how Alinore excaped by stealing her brothers clothes, mail and sword but that Marie is terrible. I also can't belive that Alinore was able to hide for so long without being discoverd. Jason is great also.

Isnt this Robin named after Robin de Piaget? Isnt he Christopher's son? Since Christopher lived with Robin as a lad- He named his first born after him? That is my take on it.

sounds about right.

The thing that stands out most for me is:

Husband Dust!!!

Oh, but I do love those wicked women!

Wouldn't it be great if the witchly trio and the ghostly trio met up? lol

I'm very happy to be re-reading this book. I have a certain fondness for stories based around mistaken identities.

Also, because one of my college classes has come to an end this is my first chance to join in these reading discussion threads.

Hi Schotzy,

Yes, this little Robin is the son of Christopher. Christopher named him after his Foster Father--Robin of Artane--who was way more of a father to him than his own blood father was.

I've been mostly lurking of late. I wish I was able to do a complete re-read w/you all. I love these books, but life is super busy right now. Maybe when kid's football season is over, I can do some re-reads.

I love the bantering between Alienore and her confidante, Jason, regarding her life's work options- pigherder's wife is a great idea!!At least Jason has her halfway happy to be in Colin's garrison! But how nerveracking that must have been for her.

Bless Isabeau for watching out for her. Blast that Etienne for his boasting and abusive ways. Poor Ali. Colin wants to train her, if he doesn't flatten her before he can. First Gillian finds her out, then Jason realizes she's a woman, Berengaria knew it anyway and spills the beans to Jason, who nearly chokes when he finds out who she is.... then we have Etienne again. He needs another poke in the nose, not only for what he's thinking of doing, but just because.
